Features

When trying to make a robot move as desired, determining the position and posture of the tip and defining the movement is a very difficult task. RobotWorks automatically teaches (* 1) with a simple operation, and can greatly reduce the burden of these tasks. RobotWorks works as an add-on software on the 3D solid modeler SolidWorks.  (*1) Teaching: Teaching. Teaching robots how to move.

Many functions have been added and problems have been resolved in RobotWorks 8. In addition, new features have been added at the request of users. This version of the robot file can be used with RB7 or RB6.
In addition, new features have been added that were not available in previous versions.

A. RobotWorks is a SolidWorks add-on software
  1. There is no need to define new graphic elements in RobotWorks.
  2. Teaching paths (continuous teaching points) can be created automatically according to SolidWorks CAD figures.
B. Main features of RobotWorks
  1. Machining path teaching: Specify the location and method to automatically and continuously create teaching points.
  2. Simulation: Move the robot along the path.
  3. Output of robot program file: It corresponds to the format of each robot manufacturer.
C. Robot Works check function
  1. Reach check: Check if the robot can reach that point
  2. Limit check for each axis: Check if the limit for each axis is exceeded in order to reach the specified point.
  3. Interference check: Check if parts (graphic elements) do not interfere with each other due to robot movement.
  4. Singular point check: Check if there are any points that cannot be moved, such as singular points
    (the 4th and 5th axes are lined up in a straight line).

  1. RobotWorks is compatible with robots from major industrial robot manufacturers around the world.
