6. Robot file creation


a.Convert Form

Robot programs (paths) created by RobotWorks can be referenced in a table called Convert Form. (Fig.-35)

In this table, the position of the path point (X, Y, Z), the attitude (Rx, Ry, Rz), the displacement reference of each axis, and the robot command at which path point to start machining (Event (example: ARC ON)) can be inserted.

  • Position and posture at each pass point
  • Displacement at each pass point
  • Insert event
  • By pressing the "Save" button, a robot program corresponding to the robot program of each robot manufacturer will be created.
  • Robot files can be created according to the following criteria.
  • Coordinate system

  • ・World coordinates
  • ・User coordinate system
  • Measurement position

  • ・6-axis tip
  • ・TCP location

  • In the case of MOTOMAN robot, pulse output is also possible.
